Mr. Miller was born and raised in Douglasville Georgia. Mr. Miller has been a criminal defense lawyer in Douglasville and Carrollton Georgia for over 11 years, and has established a reputation as being an honest and hard fighting criminal defense attorney. Mr. Miller currently serves on the Alumni Board for the University of West Georgia, and he has a true passion for helping the students and community of West Georgia. Mr. Miller's work ethic and reputation has served him well, in 2004 he was recognized by GeorgiaTrend Magazine as a "Top 40 under 40" and the Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tom Murphy, appointed Mr. Miller to the Blue Ribbon Young Drivers and DUI Study Commission. Further, Mr. Miller's positive reputation in the Douglasville community was reflected this year as he was recently elected to the Douglas County Board of Education. Mr. Hightower was born and raised in Carrollton Georgia and has established quite a strong bond with his hometown. Like Mr. Miller, Mr. Hightower currently serves on the Alumni Board for the University of West Georgia, and often volunteers his time to the local schools where he enlightens students about the law, the legal profession, and what they can do to help themselves become an attorney, if that is their profession of choice. Mr. Hightower has also become highly active in the Douglasville community and was recently selected as a member of the 2009/2010 "Leadership Douglas Class." Before Mr. Hightower became a criminal defense attorney he worked under Mr. Jimmy Tuggle in the Carroll County Solicitor's office and assisted in the prosecution of criminal cases.
